At TechAudio Pro, we are committed to customer satisfaction. This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions for returns, refunds, exchanges, and cancellations for our products and services. Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase or booking services.
2. Equipment Sales - Return Policy
2.1 New Equipment
We accept returns of new, unused equipment under the following conditions:
- Timeframe: Returns must be initiated within 14 days of purchase date
- Condition: Equipment must be unused, in original packaging with all accessories, manuals, and documentation
- Proof of Purchase: Original receipt or order confirmation required
- Restocking Fee: A 15% restocking fee applies to all returned new equipment
- Return Authorization: Contact us to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number before returning items
2.2 Used or Open-Box Equipment
- Used and open-box equipment sales are final
- No returns, exchanges, or refunds on used equipment unless defective upon receipt
- Defective items must be reported within 48 hours of purchase
- We will repair, replace, or provide store credit at our discretion for defective used equipment
2.3 Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned for hygiene, safety, or practical reasons:
- Headphones and earphones (opened packaging)
- Microphone windscreens and pop filters (opened packaging)
- Memory cards and storage media (opened packaging)
- Software and digital products
- Custom-ordered or special-order items
- Consumables (batteries, cleaning supplies, cables once opened)
- Items marked as "final sale" at time of purchase
2.4 Damaged or Defective Items
- Inspect all items upon delivery or pickup
- Report damage or defects within 48 hours of receipt
- Provide photographic evidence of damage or defect
- We will replace, repair, or refund defective items at no additional cost
- Manufacturer warranties apply as specified for each product
3. Refund Processing for Equipment Sales

- Refunds will be issued to the original payment method
- Credit card refunds typically appear within 5-10 business days
- Cash purchases will be refunded by check or store credit
- Shipping costs are non-refundable except for defective or incorrect items

4. Equipment Rental - Refund and Cancellation Policy

4.2 Early Returns
- No refunds for early equipment returns
- Rental periods are fixed regardless of actual usage time
- Early return does not reduce rental charges
4.3 Equipment Issues During Rental
- If equipment becomes defective during rental through no fault of yours, contact us immediately
- We will provide replacement equipment or issue a prorated refund
- No refunds for user-caused damage or misuse
- Document issues with photos/video for refund consideration
5. Videography and Production Services

5.2 Rescheduling
- One free reschedule allowed with 7+ days notice
- Additional rescheduling requests subject to $150 fee
- Reschedules within 7 days treated as cancellations
- Subject to availability for new dates
5.3 Service Dissatisfaction
- Notify us immediately if you're unsatisfied with work in progress
- We will work to address concerns and meet expectations
- Agreed-upon revisions included in original quote
- Additional revisions beyond scope may incur extra charges
- Refunds considered on case-by-case basis if we fail to deliver agreed services
- No refunds after final delivery acceptance and full payment
5.4 Weather and Force Majeure
- Outdoor shoots rescheduled due to severe weather without penalty
- No refunds for minor weather issues that don't prevent filming
- Force majeure events: full refund or reschedule at no additional cost
6. Studio Space Rental

6.2 Studio Issues
- If studio is unavailable due to our error: full refund plus 20% credit for future use
- Equipment failures: prorated refund based on affected time
- No refunds for client-caused issues or late arrivals
7. Training and Workshop Refunds
- 7+ days before workshop: Full refund minus $25 administrative fee
- 3-7 days before workshop: 50% refund
- Less than 3 days: No refund, but may transfer to another participant
- Workshop cancellation by us: Full refund or credit toward future workshop
8. Return Process
8.1 How to Initiate a Return

- Provide Information: Order number, item details, reason for return
- Receive RMA: We'll issue a Return Merchandise Authorization number
- Package Item: Securely pack item with all original contents
- Include RMA: Write RMA number clearly on outside of package
- Ship or Drop Off: Return to our location or ship using trackable method
8.2 Return Shipping
- Customer responsible for return shipping costs unless item is defective
- We recommend insured shipping with tracking
- Risk of loss during return shipping is customer's responsibility
- We are not responsible for items lost or damaged in return transit
8.3 Inspection and Processing
- Returned items inspected within 3-5 business days of receipt
- Items not meeting return criteria will not be refunded
- You will be notified of inspection results via email
- Refunds processed within 5 business days of approval
9. Exchanges
- Exchanges accepted within 14 days for new equipment
- Must meet same conditions as returns
- Price difference charges/credits applied for different equipment
- Subject to availability of exchange item
- Customer pays shipping for exchanges
10. Store Credit
- Store credit issued at our discretion for returns outside standard policy
- Store credit valid for 12 months from issue date
- Non-transferable and no cash value
- Can be applied to equipment purchases, rentals, or services
- Cannot be combined with other promotions unless specified
11. Warranty Claims
- Manufacturer warranties apply to new equipment as specified
- We facilitate warranty claims but are not responsible for manufacturer policies
- Contact us within warranty period with proof of purchase
- Warranty does not cover damage from misuse, accidents, or normal wear
- Repair or replacement as determined by manufacturer
12. Exceptions and Special Circumstances
TechAudio Pro reserves the right to make exceptions to this policy on a case-by-case basis at our sole discretion. Special circumstances may include:
- Medical emergencies
- Family emergencies
- Natural disasters
- Extraordinary circumstances beyond customer control
